4 star rating This is a great park to use as a base for exploring the area. Sites were level, park is clean and well maintained. We camped here for ten days. The owners are friendly and very helpful. Good WiFi and cell service for AT&T. We camped here in a Motorhome. There was a SCAMPER RV Club here so we had to take a back-in site but it is a nice site with a level paved pad. Bathrooms were very clean. I would have given Five Stars but for the quarter snatcher on the showers. We have stayed at a number of parks and this is the first to charge for a shower. Pet bathes were free however. This is our second time visiting this park and do not recall the shower fee last time.

5 star rating Repeat Visitor, Will Come Back! Very clean, well-maintained park. Owners Wes & Diane live on site, & are welcoming & helpful. Their staff is always working to keep the park grounds tidy. This is NOT a "party park", so leave your boom boxes & drunk rowdy friends home (thank goodness)! Dog - friendly, on-leash friendly pooches are welcome, & there is a large, open area next to the park to let the fur kids stretch their legs & chase squirrels. great home base for adventuring around the area. Only downside (if you don't plan accordingly) is that they are located on same street as the county fairgrounds. Stock car races are held on weekend nights, so noise is somewhat bothersome for light sleepers. Races usually end around 10pm.

We stayed in 5th wheel, w/another couple in a tent. Be sure to tell Wes & Diane about tent first for approval & help w/site location. We also had 4 fairly well behaved dogs, 2 Shiba Inus (I won't lie, the Shibas can be butts), a Brittany Spaniel & an Alaskan Malamute (who had to "woo woo" each visitor to our site in greeting ... If you know Mals, you know how they are), & Diane made sure they were under control & not bothering anyone else in the park. To me, that shows she cares about the comfort of ALL her guests, which I respect.

Gas bbqs for guest use, also very clean restrooms, dump station, & a club house. The elevated dog wash station was a pleasant surprise, & came in handy when one of the Shibas found the ONLY mud puddle within 3 miles of the place. The location is just enough outside the town center to feel secluded, but close enough to drive into for forgotten items.

5 star rating TOP RATED - 5 STARS - CLEAN QUIET FRIENDLY - FAMILY BUDGET My husband & I parked our 40' 5th wheel in this RV park with no trouble at all. They have pull through sites. We stayed 3 nights during the Plumas County Fair. Our daughter brought our three grandkids plus puppy up after school on Friday. Full hook-ups including 15 channels cable tv. (you need to bring cable to hook up). We were right next to the restrooms which at first I was "oh boy" but it turned out fine, very few late night visitors, if any. The restrooms have coded lock-boxes which only guests have the codes. The restrooms were cleaned every day and have showers. The showers do cost a whooping 25c for 5 minutes, but it is worth it. Park is next to public pool, skateboard park, & Plumas County Fairgrounds which is why we were there. Believe me I thought we would hear the fair noise well into the night but we didn't. I felt safe letting the kids run around the RV park & we walked to/from the fair each day/night. The place has horseshoes, basketball hoop, volleyball. It has a great outdoor grill area as well.
Total bill was $142 including tax. The owners, Wes & Diane, are really nice & very helpful. I would stay at this RV park again just to enjoy the beautiful trees & surroundings.
